A cloth nappy insert is an absorbent layer placed inside a reusable nappy to soak up urine. Inserts can be used alone or combined with additional boosters for increased absorbency.
Both add absorbency, but inserts are generally the main absorbent layer in a reusable nappy, while boosters are designed to be added on top when you need extra capacity.
This depends on your baby, their age and how heavy a wetter they are. Start with the included insert configuration for your Baby Bare nappy and add a booster if you need additional absorbency.
Wash your Baby Bare cloth nappy inserts and boosters as part of your normal reusable nappy washing routine. Our inserts can be washed at temperatures of up to 60°C when needed, helping to keep them fresh and thoroughly clean.
Baby Bare inserts are also tumble dryer-friendly, including on a hotter setting. If your inserts have been air-drying during the day, you can pop them in the tumble dryer for around 10 minutes to help ensure they are completely dry before storing or using them again.
