Here’s a quick step-by-step guide to getting that flawless fit with the rise snaps adjusted to the smallest setting:
Lay the Nappy Flat
Place the cloth nappy print-side up on a flat surface.
Fold Down the Front Panel
Gently fold the front of the nappy down so the soft inner lining is facing upward toward you.
Flip the Top of the Nappy Over
Now, fold the top of the nappy back over so you can clearly see the waist snaps.
Put the Nappy on Your Baby
With the nappy prepped this way, place it on your baby. The folded-up inner lining should sit just behind the waist snaps. Make sure all fabric edges are tucked upwards and no material is sticking out the sides.
This method ensures a snug, leak-free fit — especially important for newborns and smaller babies. A properly adjusted rise and clean fold help create a neat, trim look while enhancing leak protection.
